Terms of Service

These terms are in effect whether you choose to read them or not. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out for clarification.

Rights

  • The artist has rights to each artwork. They may choose to upload it or not.

  • The artwork may not be sold or used for any sort of profit unless discussed and agreed upon by both parties.

  • The commissioner has the rights to post the artwork onto any of their accounts (on any site) or their own website(s). The only stipulation is the commissioner must give credit to the artist somewhere in the post.

  • The public does not have the right to post the artist's work or claim it as their own. Any tracing or heavy referencing will be asked to be taken down.

Adoptables

  • You are knowingly purchasing rights to a digital design/character.

  • You may edit the original artwork with permission. The character itself you may do with as you please.

  • When/if you choose to later resell the character, you cannot sell the character for more than you bought it for.

Requirements

  • The commissioner must provide a reference sheet. This must have at least a front and back view. A single picture MAY be accepted if the character is simple. This will be determined by the artist.

  • I will NOT accept:

  • Fursuit Pictures

  • Second Life screenshots

  • VRC Screenshots

  • Fully clothed references hiding the markings

  • Pictures or scans of hand drawn images

  • A gallery or dropbox of commissions from many artists

  • Copyrighted Characters

  • (The only exception is if the commissioner is looking to buy a reference. The pictures and/or descriptions will be acceptable.)

  • A PayPal email.

  • Another form of contact. (Twitter, FA, etc)

Refunds

  • The artist will decide on the amount refunded, considering how much work has already been done on the piece. The artist will discuss this with the commissioner before refunding. The artist has the right to cancel a commission at any time during the commission process. Any work that has been done will be sent to the commissioner with the refund.

  • The commissioner has the right to ask for a refund at any time. The commissioner should not issue a PayPal chargeback unless you are unable to get in touch with the artist for over 2 weeks. This protects the artist if something family or life-related pops up.

Revisions

  • The artist will make any needed revisions after showing the commissioner each progressive WIP picture. The commissioner must have a cohesive list of all they want changed in one message.

  • If the commissioner approves of the art and/or changes and then returns with more edits, the artist will charge the commissioner an extra fee. Please be sure to take your time and check each step in the process thoroughly for mistakes.

  • The commissioner has the right to trace over any work in progress pictures if they believe the artist does not understands what their vision of the piece is.
